Stacy (she/her) is an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and leadership coach who supports nonprofit and campaign leaders navigating high-stakes environments, organizational change, and personal growth. Her work blends strategic insight with deep care, helping leaders clarify priorities, strengthen relationships, and lead with confidence and integrity.

Stacy began her career as a teacher with Teach For America in Washington, DC, teaching elementary school students and developing a foundation in youth development and community engagement. She later worked as a community organizer on John Kerry’s 2004 presidential campaign, launching a two-decade career as a campaign strategist and advocate. Over the years, Stacy has led and supported efforts focused on strategic planning, leadership development, meeting facilitation, and partner and volunteer engagement across political and social impact organizations.

From 2006 to 2009, Stacy served as Executive Director of the California Young Democrats, where she ran peer-to-peer organizing programs targeting young people of color. She has worked on four electoral campaigns at the local, state, and national levels, including the 2012 Obama campaign, and has supported advocacy efforts on issues ranging from community college funding to health care access. Before joining Planned Parenthood Federation of America in 2014, she served as Executive Director of the Student Success Project, partnering with school districts to navigate the political challenges surrounding the implementation of Common Core standards.

At Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Stacy spent eight years in leadership roles. After five years leading issue and policy programs, she joined the Government Relations team as a Director, where she designed and ran ongoing coaching cohorts, planned and facilitated team meetings and retreats, and partnered with senior leaders on employee engagement, retention, and organizational culture. This work deepened her commitment to supporting leaders who are balancing urgency, complexity, and care.

Stacy has facilitated strategy sessions and leadership development work with organizations including Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America and the Coalition for Headache and Migraine Patients (CHAMP). Her work has also taken her across the globe, including to Algeria and Cyprus, where she trained Egyptian political party leaders with the National Democratic Institute.

Today, Stacy partners closely with leaders and teams seeking to strengthen relationships in service of more effective and values-aligned work. She helps leaders gather and interpret feedback, examine patterns in their leadership, and engage in conversations that often feel risky, but are essential for growth. Her recent coaching clients include senior leaders at the DNC and Emily’s list, a nonprofit leader managing organizational restructuring, and a mid-level manager at a large nonprofit balancing complex relationships.

Stacy holds a BA in Urban Studies and Planning from the University of California, San Diego, with a minor in U.S. History. Originally from California, she now lives in Denver, Colorado, with her family.

“Stacy is such a kind and caring person, which enables her to be a fantastic coach. She is able to thread the needle between so many of a client’s life experiences and guide them to their own conclusions—then help set realistic goals to move forward. She has been an invaluable presence in my career growth, and I hope to continue working with her.”
