1. About Our Services
Work Better Together provides leadership coaching and related services to individuals and organizations, including:
- One-on-one leadership coaching
- Group and team coaching
- Workshops and events
- Online courses and programs
All services are subject to a separate coaching/facilitation agreement or enrollment confirmation, which will govern the specific terms of your engagement with WBT.
2. What Coaching Is (and Isn’t)
Coaching is a professional relationship distinct from therapy, counseling, or mental health services. WBT does not provide psychological, legal, financial, or medical advice. Coaching is intended to support personal and professional development and should not be used as a substitute for licensed professional services.
Results from coaching vary by individual and are not guaranteed. Your success depends on many factors, including your own commitment and effort.
3. Engagement & Scheduling
Discovery calls and consultations may be scheduled via Calendly or email. These initial conversations are complimentary and do not constitute a coaching agreement.
Formal coaching engagements begin only upon mutual agreement and execution of a coaching agreement or receipt of an invoice. WBT reserves the right to decline to enter into a coaching relationship with any individual or organization.
4. Fees & Payment
Fees for WBT services are outlined in your individualized proposal, invoice, or program enrollment confirmation. Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Payment is due within 15 days upon receipt of invoice
- WBT accepts payment via the methods specified on your invoice
- Fees are quoted and payable in US Dollars
- WBT reserves the right to adjust fees for future engagements with reasonable notice.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
WBT understands that circumstances change. Cancellation and refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis with the goal of finding a fair resolution for all parties.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, workshop, or program enrollment, please contact the organization as soon as possible at hello@workbettertogether.coach. WBT will work with you to reschedule where feasible or discuss options appropriate to your situation.
Please note that refunds for workshops, events, and online courses may be limited once materials have been delivered or the event has commenced.
6. Confidentiality
WBT is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of information shared during coaching engagements. The organization is ICF certified and adheres to the ICF Code of Ethics. WBT will not disclose personal information shared in sessions to third parties without your consent, except as required by law or in circumstances where disclosure is necessary to prevent serious harm.
Clients are similarly expected to keep confidential any proprietary materials, frameworks, or information shared by WBT in the course of the engagement.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the WBT website — including text, graphics, course materials, frameworks, tools, and other resources — is the intellectual property of Work Better Together and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from WBT content without prior written permission. Materials provided during coaching engagements are for your personal use only and may not be resold or shared commercially.
8. Website Use
By using our website, you agree to:
- Use the site only for lawful purposes
- Not attempt to disrupt or interfere with the website or its security
- Not misrepresent your identity or affiliation when submitting inquiries
WBT reserves the right to deny access to the website to anyone who violates these Terms.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The WBT website and services are provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. WBT does not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, WBT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website or services, even if WBT has been advised of the possibility of such damages. WBT’s total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which WBT operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.
12. Changes to These Terms
WBT reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the website with a revised Effective Date. Your continued use of the website or services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Accessibility
WBT is committed to making workbettertogether.coach as accessible as possible to all visitors. While the organization cannot guarantee perfect accessibility at all times, it actively works to ensure the site is usable by a broad audience.
